Another big unrestricted free agent is officially off the board!
The Minnesota Wild have announced that they have signed a former first-round pick and a top prospect for the Anaheim Ducks.
As per NHL insider Frank Seravalli:
#mnwild announce they've signed Sam Steel to a one-year, $825k deal Sam Steel was drafted 30th overall by the Ducks at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft and has appeared in 197 career games with the club. In four seasons, the 24-year-old has recorded 24 goals and 41 assists.
