The Boston Bruins could be in a really tough position going into Game 5 against the St. Louis Blues.
Not only did the Bruins' drop Game 4 to St. Louis and let the Blues back in the series, they might have lost their captain.
There's speculation that Chara is out for the rest of the series but that's far from guaranteed.
We've seen players play with broken jaws before and Chara is an absolute warrior.
However his status for Game 5 might not be guaranteed, during his press conference with the media on Wednesday, Chara gave a pretty big clue regarding Chara's status for Game 5.
While mind games by coaches during the playoffs would be nothing new, Cassidy basically implied that Chara not skating on Wednesday likely meant he won't play on Thursday.
He added that he might be able to provide an official update on Chara Thursday morning.
