The Boston Bruins are gearing up for a huge Game 5 against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night.
The Stanley Cup Finals are tied 2-2 and there's lots of questions surrounding Zdeno Chara and Matt Grzelcyk's status for Game 5.
However whether those two play or not, there's six Bruins' players that have been almost invisible during certain times this series.
As NBC Sports Boston points out,
Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron,
David Pastrnak, Jake DeBrusk, David Krejci and David Backes have a combined zero points during 5 on 5 play.
To make matters even worse, Krejci and Backes have yet to register a point during the first four games of the series.
Marchand, Bergeron, Pastrnak and DeBrusk have registered all their points either during power play or short handed action while Marchand scored a goal into an empty net (6 on 5) play.
While many believe special teams win you playoff games, you still need at least some form of contribution during 5 on 5 play from your top stars.
