With David Quinn leaving Boston University to take on the head coaching job with the New YorkRangers, the vacant BU gig could be filled by a piece of the Bruins staff.
Mike McMahon of the College Hockey News lists Bruins assistant coach Joe Sacco as a top candidate for the BU job.
Sacco played for BU in the 80's before joining the NHL and racking up 738 career NHL games.

Sacco is a Massachusetts native and the BU job could be too good to pass up.
