The Boston Bruins kicked off their six-game road trip with an important 3-2 overtime win over the Seattle Kraken last night.

The trip out West can have a massive impact on how the Bruins' regular season shapes out. Bruce Cassidy's troops are currently one point shy of the Washington Capitals in the standings, with both teams holding on the Eastern Conference's two Wild Card spots.

Following their win over the Kraken on Thursday, the Bruins will continue their 12-day road trip with their next stops coming in San Jose, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Vegas and Columbus. Of those clubs, none has a better record than the Bruins at the moment, showing just how important every win becomes for the B's.

While playing in a new rink, under the California sun, or against lesser opponents can be distracting, veteran blueliner Brandon Carlo shared his opinion on what Boston's mentality should be to win those games:

With star forward Brad Marchand now back in the fold and some new-look lines starting to gel, the Bruins will look to keep rolling as they take on the Sharks tomorrow night at 10 p.m. ET.
