Boston Bruins prospect, Brett Harrison, was the victim of a nasty head shot in this afternoon's OHL game between his Oshawa Generals and the Niagara Ice Dogs.

At 8:49 of the 2nd period, Niagara's Brice Cooke delivered the blow shortly after a face off in the Ice Dogs' zone. As you'll see in the video, after briefly laying on the ice, Harrison is able to get up under his own power and skate to the Generals' bench.

Cooke received a match penalty for the infraction and on the ensuing five-minute power play, Harrison himself scored for Oshawa! He added another goal thirty seconds into the third period as well as the Generals went on to win by a final score of 8-2.

Harrison was the Bruins' third round pick (85th) overall in last year's NHL Entry Draft. In 42 games with the Generals this season, his sophomore season in the OHL, the 18-year-old Harrison is second in team scoring with 18 goals and 22 assists.
