This past week the Boston Bruins have found their goaltending situation thrown for a loop. Neither Jeremy Swayman or Linus Ullmark have been particularly sharp since the All-Star Game in their individual starts. Oh yeah, and of course Tuukka Rask announced his surprising retirement from the game he loved so much.

While both Swayman and Ullmark seem like decent options on most nights, it suddenly appears that the Boston Bruins are revealing themselves as a dark horse for a pending unrestricted goaltender at the trade deadline. According to TSN's Jamie McLennan has named the Bruins as a dark horse for the services of Marc-Andre Fleury, who is expected to be traded by the Blackhawks in the next month or so.

Fleury's numbers this season don't necessarily do the future Hall of Famer justice as he's posting a .910 Save Percentage with a goals against average of 2.88 on a Blackhawks team who have struggled.

It is difficult to believe that the Blackhawks would be willing to move significant assets for a goalie at this time, especially with how difficult the Eastern Conference playoffs are set to be at this point.
