Bruins to host second annual Boston Pride Hockey scrimmage

The Boston Bruins announced today, June 22nd, that the club will host their second annual Boston Pride Hockey scrimmage on Thursday, June 23rd, at Warrior Ice Arena. The scrimmage is in celebration of Pride Month.
What is 'Boston Pride Hockey':
"Boston Pride Hockey (BPH) is a New England non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ players and allies to learn, enjoy, and compete in the sport of hockey. Since its founding in 1989, BPH has grown exponentially, consistently expanding upon its wide range of dynamic and inclusive programs throughout the year. These include its Inclusive Hockey League, year-round pick-up games, tournaments around the globe, skill sessions, and youth hockey initiatives."
The club released this statement:
"The scrimmage will begin at 7 p.m. and will include members of Boston Pride Hockey, former Boston Bruins goaltender and current Team Ambassador Tuukka Rask, Bruins alumni and NESN analyst Andrew Raycroft, Boston Pride President and Olympic gold medalist Colleen Coyne, and members of the PHF's Boston Pride."
"The scrimmage is the second to be hosted by the Bruins and presented by TD Bank as part of their partnership with the Boston Bruins on Hockey is for Everyone initiatives. Hockey is for Everyone is an NHL initiative in partnership with You Can Play that utilizes the sport of hockey, and the League's global influence, to drive positive social change and foster more inclusive communities, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status."
