Linus Ullmark isn't the only goaltender in the Bruins organization that has made waves this season, as one AHLer has proven he's ready to make a jump to the NHL.

When Brandon Bussi started the season with the Maine Mariners of the ECHL, nobody expected him to be an AHL All-Star and starter for the Providence Bruins just five months later.

Bussi is Focused on Winning in the AHL

As Tim Dumas of Black N Gold Hockey recently shared, Bussi was nothing but focused on the task at hand regarding a potential call up to the NHL:

'I try not to be focused about that, to be honest,'' he said last week when asked about a potential promotion to Boston. 'I'm very happy with where I'm at right now. What we're doing here in Providence is very important; we have a really good group to do something special. If something were to happen and I'm that guy that is going to get the call, then I'm going to be ready to help them do my job there.''

Bussi, 24, has appeared in 26 games for Providence this season, collecting a 17-4-4 record, along with a 2.42 GAA and a .925 SV%.

The New York native have transitioned well from NCAA, to ECHL, and now to the AHL, but will he be in the NHL some day?
