Bruins trade young prospect to Blues in AHL transaction

The St. Louis Blues acquired the 22-year-old defenseman for future considerations.
Defenseman Brady Lyle signed with Boston almost one year ago, on April 19 of 2021. Yesterday, it was announced by the Providence Bruins that he had been traded to the St. Louis Blues' AHL affiliate - the Springfield Thunderbirds.
The 22-year-old native of North Bay, Ontario, had a very impressive showing as rookie last year. He played 25 games in his first year as a pro, netting a solid total of seven goals to go with his seven helpers.
However, Lyle had been struggling to get going with Providence this season. Lyle played in 48 regular season games for them this year, scoring just two goals and adding seven assists for the baby Bruins.
