The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney got a huge piece of business done this morning with the massive contract extension signing.

Defenseman Charlie McAvoy is locked in for the next eight years a s pillar of the Bruins defense.
Now head coach Bruce Cassidy and McAvoy focus on the season opener against the Dallas Stars where they'll welcome old friend Tyler Seguin to town.
The Stars started their season last night and registered a 3-2 win in New York against the Rangers.
This morning at practice Cassidy revealed the lineup that he'll likely send out for the first game of the season.
Charlie Coyle will start the season as your second line center and he'll be in the middle of Taylor Hall and Craig Smith while Nick Foligno will play on the third line where Erik Haula will center and Jake DeBrusk will play left wing.
Jakub Zboril and John Moore look to be the healthy scratches on defense and we have no indication on if Jeremy Swayman or Linus Ullmark will start between the pipes.
