Boston Bruins legend Zdeno Chara has set a date for his decision to continue his NHL career or not.
Chara's agent Matt Keator told Matt Porter of the Boston Globe that the veteran intends to take his time before deciding about his playing future. Recent reports are that the longtime Bruins captain has already retired, but nothing has been confirmed by Chara himself or his agent.
Only rumours from Toronto Sun journalist Steve Simmons, who has had his fair share of controversial takes.
As per Porter:
''He's going to take the summer with his family and assess where he's at physically, where his family's at, and make a decision in September. No rush.''
Is retirement or one more season with the Bruins up next for Big Z? Either way, a contract with Boston is very likely, whether it's for one season or one day.
