The Boston Bruins head coach made the annoucement during this morning's press conference.
Meeting the media prior to tonight's showdown with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Bruins' bench boss Bruce Cassidy had some unfortunate news to share.
Not only will Boston be without their top scorer in David Pastrnak, but the Beantown boys will also be without one of their top defensemen.
With Hampus Lindholm also set to miss the Atlantic Division bout, Mike Reilly will slide back in on the top pair on the left side of Charlie McAvoy.
As for Pastrnak's big shoes to fill, that task will be handed over to rookie Marc McLaughlin, who gets promoted to the B's second unit on the right flank of Taylor Hall and Erik Haula.
