There's almost no doubt that Connor Bedard will go first overall in July with his dominating performance at the World Juniors.
But after Canada won gold in overtime Thursday night, the young phenom showed another quality that NHL GMs will love.
When asked about his tournament during an interview in the ice, Bedard quickly shot it down with the best answer:
''I don't wanna talk about me. We're not talking about me right now. We just won the biggest tournament in the world. I love this group. I love this country.''
Straight class from an amazing player that will someday be an NHL star. One team is going to be every happy to win the next Draft Lottery.
The 17-year-old finished the World Juniors with 8 goals and 17 assists for 23 points. The next closest was Logan Cooley of the US with 12 points.
