In a recent poll, former goaltender Mike McKenna conducted a poll with goaltenders to find out the top five one-timers in the NHL.

Mike McKenna stated that he asked current goalies - that have combined for over 2,400 games played - about the goal scorers they face on a nightly basis.

The Boston Bruins' most lethal threat is Pastrnak, and with no surprise, the 26-year-old appeared first on the list, which is apparently in random order. Pasta is on pace for career-highs in every category, with 37 goals and 32 assists in 47 games.

As per McKenna, who noted the players were in random order:

''Pastrnak made every ballot but one. Which shouldn't be surprising considering since the start of the 2019-20 season, Pasta' has scored the fifth-most goals (127) in the NHL.''

''Remember what I said about accuracy earlier? To me, that's Pastrnak. The Bruins forward consistently picks corners. A precision that he's developed from hours of repetition before and after practice.''

''I also think Pastrnak is one of the best at adjusting for the pass. For some players, the puck needs to be directly in their wheelhouse in order to bomb it. That's not Pastrnak. He can rip a shot even when the pass is in his feet or behind him.''

Rounding out the rest of the top five was Alexander Ovechkin (duh), Steven Stamkos, Patrik Laine and youngster Tage Thompson, who has been lighting the league on fire this season.

Honourable mentions included Leon Draisaitl, Nikita Kucherov and Kirill Kaprizov.
