David Pastrnak is on a Hart Trophy mission this season!
Saturday against the Blue Jackets, Pastrnak scored his 20th goal of the season, making it the seventh consecutive he's done so. He added to his total with his 21st against the Florida Panthers on Monday night and is on a quiet but dominant point streak.
As per NHL Public Relations:
David Pastrnak (7-4�11 in 9 GP), who extended his point streak to nine games and moved within one of his sixth double-digit run in the NHL.
Pasta improved his season totals to 21 goals and 22 assists in 31 games. He currently sits tied for 5th in goals, 12th in assists and 5th in points. Pastrnak also sits only two back of Peter McNab for 11th and three back of Bobby Orr for 10th on the franchise's all-time goals leaderboard.
Pastrnak's longest point streak was 13 games during the 2019-20 season, and he also has streaks of 12(x2), 11, and 10 games. Will he beat his personal best?
