Jake Debrusk has been red-hot for Boston with seven goals and two assists in his last six games.
But despite both his personal success and the team's strong showing in the past few weeks, the 25-year-old doesn't seem like he wants to wear the Bruins logo much longer.
During the TSN Insider Trading segment, Lebrun also noted that Debrusk's agent has received permission to talk directly with teams in the hopes of working out a deal.
As mentioned last week, Debrusk's move to the B's top line was interpreted in different ways by fans and media members alike. The promotion was seen by some as a way to get the forward going for the long run, while others wondered if this was simply a way to showcase him ahead of the trade deadline.
It will definitely be interesting to see how the Bruins handle the situation in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
