With a goal, an assist and a fighting major in yesterday's game, veteran Nick Foligno ended his night with a Gordie Howe hat trick.
But despite the Bruins skating away with a loss following a last-minute goal by Ducks rookie Trevor Zegras, Foligno was able to leave the rink with some form of satisfaction.
Just over two minutes after the opening face-off, Foligno dropped the mitts with Anaheim's Sam Carrick and led to this spirited bout.
Foligno did land a few punches in the fight, which had to bring back some funk to the 34-year-old.
Foligno had the Ducks game circled on his calendar for a few weeks after being struck by Carrick's one-punch haymaker back in January.
The Ducks and Bruins aren't scheduled to face eachother anymore from here to the end of the 2021-22 regular season calendar.
