The Boston Bruins have always been able to hold a core group together, on fairly team friendly deals as well.
Adding a few pieces here and there, of course. Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak, Patrice Bergeron, and David Krejci are group that has a ton of success and even more trust than ever.
However, Bergeron and Krajci are still unsigned, and Boston could use them as soon as possible when you look at the injury list.
Marchand is out up to four months due to hip surgery that he sustained.
Charlie Mcavoy is also out at least four months with shoulder surgery.
Tough guys to replace. How do they do it?
