According to several reports, the New York Islanders have agreed to a contract with Nazem Kadri; however, they need to free up space before making it official.
Because of that, Stefen Rosner of NYI Hockey Now reported that they are trying to find a trade partner for one specific player:
''I can confirm that as of today, Josh Bailey and his $5 million are being shopped. Bailey, 32, has two years left on his deal.''
'That does not mean Bailey moves, but given his cap hit, it makes the most sense to get Kadri to Long Island.''
Bailey is 32 years old and is a former 70 point scorer. Last season he recorded 14 goals and 44 points.
