Elliotte Friedman provides contract update on David Pastrnak (VIDEO)

During Hockey Night in Canada, insider Elliotte Friedman provided an update on contract negotiations between the Bruins and David Pastrnak.
Boston announced a late night extension for Pavel Zacha, which once again started the questions of a Pasta deal.
Friedman shared some news about Pastrnak in his 32 Thoughts intermission report during the Toronto and Boston game:
''I want to be careful with this one, but the word around the league is the Bruins and Pastrnak have been making some progress. Don't get out of control with that, but it appears some progress is being made with that negotiation.''
Pastrnak scored his 33rd of the season in a massive 4-3 win over the Leafs. He now sits second in goals - 4 behind Connor McDavid - and fifth in points with 59.
