ESPN is set to release a new two-hour E:60 documentary, "Unrivaled," in June 2022 on the bloody battles between the Colorado Avalanche and Detroit Red Wings through the 1990s and early 2000s. The rivalry was highlighted by a post-season line brawl started by all-time pest Claude Lemieux, and even goaltenders Mike Vernon and Patrick Roy were involved.
ESPN released the trailer on Friday, and it looks amazing:
This documentary's trailer previews features from some of the well-known players from the feud like Lemieux, Darren McCarty, Chris Draper, Patrick Roy and Brendan Shanahan, plus many more.
There are many NHL legends that make an appearance in this E60 special in what is likely going to be must-see TV.
