It was announced recently that Ron MacLean is not expected to be back with Hockey Night in Canada after the conclusion of the 2021-22 NHL season.
After game one of the Stanley Cup Final, MacLean was talking about the Avalanche's overtime victory on the Sportsnet panel, and reportedly, a fan threw garbage at him.
After he turned his back on long-time friend and co-host Don Cherry to save himself, Maclean's popularity has taken a significant hit.
Looking at Twitter, MacLean has gotten no love.
