Derek Forbort lands massive hit on Red Wings Veleno (VIDEO)

Defenseman Derek Forbort is quickly becoming a fan favourite among the Boston Bruins faithful, and for good reason.

Like the team, Forbort is off to a strong start in the 2022-23 season, as him and Connor Clifton have combined for one of the best defensive pairings in the NHL.

Forbort showed that shutdown physicality last night against the Detroit Red Wings when he threw a massive hit on forward Joe Veleno in the corner.
