The biggest shock at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft was when projected number one pick, Shane Wright, fell to number four for the Seattle Kraken.
Wright was visibly shaken and upset when he wasn't taken number one by the Montreal Canadiens, let alone the next two teams as well.
However, a former fourth overall pick who's career has turned out just fine, reached out the Wright:
Some other notable fourth overall selections:
- Steve Yzerman
- Roberto Luongo
- Paul Kariya
- Cale Makar
- Nicklas Backstrom
- Alex Pietrangelo
- Evander Kane
- Seth Jones
