Former BCHL player found dead at 23-years-old

Sad news out of the British Columbia Hockey League over the weekend.
It was announced that former BCHL forward, Parm Dhaliwal of the West Kelowna Warriors, had passed away at just 23-years of age.
It was reported that Dhaliwal was found in his room by the cleaning staff at the Hyatt Grand Hotel in New York City, and the cause of death was not disclosed.
The Surrey, British Columbia native played three seasons (2016-2019) for the Warriors and recorded 120 points in 148 games at the Junior A level. Unfortunately, he had to stop playing due to a concussion that happened the year before, as concussion symptoms increased and he was forced to retire from the game.
West Kelowna Warriors tweeted that Parm Dhaliwal memorial service Is set to take place over social media next Sunday, August 7th 2022.
