Michael Del Zotto, at the age of 33, has decided to retire from professional hockey after an illustrious career spanning 736 NHL games. He leaves a lasting legacy of skill and commitment to the sport.

Del Zotto's journey in the NHL began in 2009, and he proudly represented various teams, including the New York Rangers, Nashville Predators, Philadelphia Flyers, Vancouver Canucks, Anaheim Ducks, St. Louis Blues, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Ottawa Senators. His versatility and on-ice contributions were evident throughout his career.

Selected 20th overall by the New York Rangers in the 2008 NHL Draft, Del Zotto
rose through the ranks to become a key player for multiple franchises.

In his final season, Del Zotto played in the AHL for the Charlotte Checkers and the San Diego Gulls, showcasing his enduring passion for the game.
