Kessel's production has fluctuated all 3 seasons in Arizona, after being dealt by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2019. In his last season, he put up a total of 52 points in 82 games, which suggests his trajectory is closer to that of Jakub Voracek at this point in his career, as a great passer instead of a goal-scorer.

Jack Han shared some interesting information about Phil Kessel on Twitter this week, Phil Kessel is no doubt about to become the Vegas Golden Knights "Character guy".

Kessel was described as a great teammate and a freak athlete, but won't go into corners, so definitely lacks some grit later in his career.

''

I have a wife and kid and three dogs, so it becomes less and less likely that you do that stuff. During the season, you don't have much time. I don't think I'll be doing [it] that often there.''
