FULL HIGHLIGHTS: Bruins and Devils have a goaltending dual Monday Night

The Boston Bruins travelled to Newark to play the New Jersey Devils on Monday evening, their fourth of six total 2022 preseason games.

Besides the fact that it was an exhibition game, it was also a flat, lifeless game from the entire Bruins squad. The Devils came away with a 1-0 win with a goal by Tomas Tatar at 10:55 of the first period.

Goaltender Keith Kinkaid started the game for the Bs and left in the third period after stopping 19 of 20 shots faced, and Kyle Keyser stopped all 4 shots he faced. Jim Montgomery spoke postgame about his goaltenders:

''"I thought our goalies were our two best players"

''Unfortunately, [Kinkaid] cramped up there, but he was having a really good hockey game. Gave us an opportunity to maybe steal one in the third periodhe's fine, just cramps.''

In a flat performance from the entire team, one player who stood out was defenseman Jack Achan, who played a team-high 22:19. Below are a couple of strong plays from the young blueliner:
