Today, the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers had an intense afternoon affair that saw the Bruins come out on top with a 3-1 victory.
David Pastrnak, Hampus Lindholm and Linus Ullmark all returned from injury in the Bruins' first home game since last Saturday, which was a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
All returnees had excellent games. Pastrnak opened the scoring and added one assist in 20:19 of time on ice, which led all Boston forwards. Lindholm started the breakout that led to the opening goal and logged 24:41 of time on ice, which led all Bruins defensemen. Ullmark made the start and stopped 30 of 31 shots he faced for his 24th win of the season.
The Bruins showed up to TD Garden and played a whole team effort for a big win against a very good Rangers team.
