David Pastrnak returned to the Boston Bruins lineup after missing the past eight games due to an undisclosed injury.

Pastrnak seemed like he didn't miss a beat, scoring his 39th of the season with just 35 seconds left in the first period. He then got the secondary assist on Taylor Hall's 2-0 goal 1:07 into the second period.

Pasta is now up to 39 goals and 34 assists for 73 points in 70 games played this season. But, more importantly, with the the two points Pastrnak notched his 500th career NHL point.

David Pastrnak becomes the ninth fastest Bruin to reach 500 points, by doing it in 508 games.

Teammate Erik Haula made sure to get the puck so Pasta will always have a keepsake:

Pasta was also named the first star of the game with one goal, one assist, a plus two and 20:19 of time on ice (most amongst Bruins' forwards).
