The Bruins power play finally came alive on Friday.

Boston earned its first win of the postseason in Game 3 of its opening round series against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Special units played a crucial role in the outing, with the Bruins not only scoring twice on the man advantage, but also scoring once while shorthanded!

The top guns came out to play on Friday, as every scorer last night plays on either the first or second line for the B's.

Leading the way offensively was Brad Marchand's three-point outing (1G-2A), while Charlie Coyle and David Pastrnak earned two points (1G-1A) apiece.

Between the pipes, rookie Jeremy Swayman made his first start of the postseason and showed he belonged with a 25-save stellar performance.
