Full scouting report on Bruins top pick Matthew Poitras

The Boston Bruins first pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft was in the second round (54th overall) as their first round pick was sent to Anaheim in the Hampus Lindholm trade.
With the pick, general manager Don Sweeney decided on centre Matthew Poitras from the Guelph Storm of the OHL.
Poitras was born March 10th, 2004 in Brooklin, Ontario and is a right-shot centreman.
A 5-foot-11, 174-pound, the 18-year-old collected 21 goals and 29 assists in 68 games played this season.
