When the Golden Knights entered the NHL in 2017, things were going well for them.

On the ice, the team came out winning from the start, and the organization quickly made a reputation, so much so that several players wanted to play in Vegas.

However, things have changed a lot over the past year.

With the reports of how management has treated its players, word quickly spread. The franchise allegedly cannot be trusted, and we had another example recently.

NHL insider Elliotte Friedman discussed this on the latest ''32 Thoughts'' podcast:

''I heard the Golden Knights were one of the teams interested in bringing Stastny back.

He still skates with some of the players in Vegas, and I was even told that the team offered him more money, but he decided to go to Carolina anyway.''

Paul Stastny (a former Golden Knights player) declined to join the team and signed with the Carolina Hurricanes.

However, Friedman reported that Vegas had offered him more money

Not a good look when even a former player doesn't want to back either!
