Gaudreau family cancels their wedding following the death of Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau
Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau's family has released a heartbreaking statement after the passing of both of them.
Everyone is taking the passing of the Gaudreau brothers hard, but no one is taking it as hard as the Gaudreau family, who was set to celebrate a wedding 24 hours after the fatal incident occurred.
Johnny and Matthew's sister, Katie Gaudreau, and her fiance Devin Joyce were set to celebrate their wedding today, but have canceled after the passing of the brothers. The wedding was supposed to take place at the St. Mary's Parish in Gloucester City, New Jersey.
Matthew and Johnny both had special parts in the wedding, as they were both supposed to be ring carriers for Katie's special day. All these new reports coming out are just heartbreaking.
A statement from Jim Gaudreau has been released to the public on behalf of the family:
We want everyone to know that we receive your messages of love and support and appreciate your thoughts and prayers. We ask for your continued respect and privacy during this very difficult time of grieving. From all our families and from the bottom of our hearts (the Gaudreau, Morris, Korbitz, Venello and Joyce families).»

What a tragic day today has turned out to be, when it was supposed to be one of the most special days for their sister Katie.
