A reporter affiliated with the NHL was just fired after a 'disgraceful' report on the death of Matthew Gaudreauand Johnny Gaudreau.

It was announced that the Flyers Nitty Gritty have parted ways with the reporter who was first to break the story of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau's passing.

Flyers Nitty Gritty is lead by Jamey Baskow who is a respected reporter in the NHL and it is a media outlet that is credentialed to the Philadelphia Flyers. They have released a statement this morning stating that Dylan Robillard, a former reporter and journalist for their outlet has been let go after his report of the passing.

This news was reported last night, and gained a lot of attention, many thought that Robillard was trying to be the first to report the news and get attention for it.

Robillard has since released a statement after being let go from Flyers Nitty Gritty:

Many reporters around the league and fans are calling what he did 'disgraceful' and believed that he did not have the right to be the first to report it without a source.

Bruins nation, keep the Gaudreau's family and friends close by through your thoughts and prayers, at times like this we all need to come together.
