Boston Bruins president Cam Neely and general manager Don Sweeney spoke to the media on Wednesday morning in Montreal ahead of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.

The main talking point was David Pastrnak's extension possibility and the return of veterans Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci. It was reported a few weeks ago that the Bruins captain has all but signed a new contract and a potential return of Krejci is not out of reach.

As per Jimmy Murphy of Boston Hockey Now, GM Don Sweeney spoke on the subject of a Krejci and Bruins reunion.

Sweeney stated:

"I've been in touch with David and [his team] [he] spent a lot of time with his family deciding what he'd like to do. The conversations have gone well. It's just a matter of when David decides, ultimately, and if we're gonna be the place that he chooses."

The last line of Sweeney's statement is intriguing. It's uncertain if Krejci is choosing between other NHL teams or if it's only between the Bruins and returning to the Czech Republic.
