Hockey Canada has been under investigation after two alleged sexual assault claims have been made against the members of Team Canada's World Junior Hockey team from the 2003 tournament in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and the 2018 team from London, Ontario.

Hockey Canada did a lacklustre investigation to basically sweep it under the rug, but it's been blown open after the Canadian Government demanded answers.

CBC News has just reported that the Halifax police now have the names of at least two members of the 2003 team:

''A person who was shown a video of the alleged incident after it occurred in 2003 said reported the identities of two players he recognized in the video in a recent interview with police. The source informed he told Halifax police he recognized the 2003 World Junior player holding the camcorder at the beginning of the video because he held the camera up to his face.''

''[The video] made me sick to my stomach,» the source told CBC News. «I knew what I was watching was wrong.''

''I recognized two of the players, and both of them went on to have NHL careers.''

After the news first broke that the 2003 team was being investigated, several players came forward to deny their involvement in the allegations. Most have said that they weren't even aware of the allegations until they became public last month.

Former NHLers PA Parenteau, Carlo Colaiacovo, Dan Paille and Jordin Tootoo have all cleared their names, however, goaltender Marc Andre Fleury has yet to come forward and declined to answer any questions when approached on the subject.
