The Boston Bruins finished their three-game road trip Saturday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs, hoping to keep a seven-game win streak alive.

However, the Maple Leafs did a good job exploiting the Bruins' weaknesses that they've been able to work around so far this season. The Leafs' speed was a problem for Boston, who tried to force too many unnecessary passes and only had 21 shots on net (16 at even strength).

One major positive was Brad Marchand recording career point number 800, and he did it in dramatic style with a penalty shot. Too bad it was the only offense a hot Bruins team could muster.

Boston pushed hard in the final minute with the goalie pulled, but Toronto did well to shut them down. A loss to the Leafs always stings a bit more, but the Bruins are still 10-2-0 and return home for the next five of six games.
