The Boston Bruins hosted the Calgary Flames at TD Garden Thursday night, trying to push their home record to a perfect 8-0-0 to start the season.
Calgary came out strong, with an opening goal from Massachusetts native Noah Hanifin. The Flames would finish we a 32-28 edge in shots. But a fabulous return from Charlie McAvoy helped the Bruins secure their eighth straight game at home.
