HIGHLIGHTS: Prospects come up big in Saturday matinee against the Flyers

The Boston Bruins hosted the Philadelphia Flyers at TD Garden this afternoon for their third game of the 2022 preseason.

Even though the Bruins iced a top-six forward group of what will most likely be a close resemblance to opening night (besides no Pasta), it was Boston's youngsters who stole the show.

Hometown kid Marc McLaughlin got the Bruins on the board first with his first of the preseason:

McLaughlin would score his second of the game with a good forecheck from Trent Frederic and some hard work in front of the net to put the Bs up 2-0:

It was another prospect's turn, as John Beecher would redirect a perfect shot pass from Derek Forbort into the Flyers net to make it 3-0:

And Beecher would finish things off with an empty netter for his second of the game, showing off his elite skating speed:
