When Vegas broke into the NHL in 2017, its management was praised, but it seems to be on a downward spiral as of late.
On Wednesday, the club traded veteran goal scorer Max Pacioretty and Dylan Coghlan to the Carolina Hurricanes for basically nothing.
Or �future considerations' as they like to call it.
The Hurricanes Twitter took the opportunity to take a shot at Vegas afterward:
And the trash talk is definitely warranted.
After trading Vezina-winning goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury to the Chicago Blackhawks last summer, they lost another star due to poor asset management.
