While many of the Bruins have been putting up points early this season, Taylor Hall hasn't been one of them. The highly gifted winger scored in the Bruins' first game of the season but has failed to produce any points since. Hall suffered an upper-body injury during the pre-season and had an original prognosis of a week-to-week injury. However, to many's surprise, the B's forward was deemed healthy and suited up for the season opener against the Washington Capitals.

During the Bruins' last game against Ottawa, Hall saw a season-low 15 shifts to go with a season-low 11:55 time on the ice. Hall didn't have a strong performance against the Senators; with no shots on the net, and no hits, he was just a body on the ice during the game.

Perhaps Hall found himself in Montgomery's doghouse after a poor showing through the first two periods, or is Hall still dealing with effects from the upper body injury suffered during the pre-season? With a long list of injuries, Boston doesn't need to lose another player to the IR right now. Let's hope coach Montgomery was pushing Hall to reach another gear in the upcoming games.

Keep an eye out for Hall's spot in tonight's lineup for the game against Anaheim. A healthy and engaged Taylor Hall can go a long way for the Bruins, who are still without injured star Brad Marchand.
