The Boston Bruins will have a little extra help when they host the Anaheim Ducks tonight, as one specific player is officially coming off the injured reserve.
The Bruins are currently missing four key players (especially on defense) in Brad Marchand, Charlie McAvoy, Matthew Grzelcyk and Brandon Carlo; however, one of them is officially returning tonight.
As per Conor Ryan of the Boston Sports Journal:
''Montgomery: Matt Grzelcyk is IN tonight.''
This is great news for Grzelcyk and the Bruins, as an already depleted blueline will get some extra help. Especially because veteran Anton Stralman is still stuck in Canada after facing the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday due to ongoing visa issues.
Grzelcyk appeared in 73 games and registered 4 goals and 20 assists, and was a plus-24 last season for the Bs.
