Former Boston Bruins forward Jarome Iginla must be one proud father right now!
His daughter Jade and Team Canada defeated the United States 3-2 on Monday to win the gold medal at the IIHF Women's U-18 World Championships. The tournament was held in Madison, Wisconsin, from June 6th to 13th.
Jarome won his first IIHF gold medal representing Canada 25 years ago at the Men's U-20 World Juniors held in Massachusetts; he was also the tournament's leading scorer with 12 points in six games. It appears she's already doing a tremendous job following in her father's footsteps!
