Two of the Boston Bruins best young players are David Pastrnak (26) and Jake Debrusk (26), who both had great offensive production after switching spots in the lineup halfway through last season.
The two were drafted just one year apart and have somewhat grown into the NHL as Bruins together. As good friends, DeBrusk was asked the biggest question facing the Bruins this offseason, the status of a Pastrnak extension.
As Conor Ryan of The Boston Sports Journal reported:
DeBrusk continued with a smile:
''I think he went to his Czech number.''
Ryan stated that DeBrusk's comments were said in obvious sarcasm. The reason why Pasta hasn't made an appearance at captains' practises yet is unknown. The Czech native is most likely still in Europe and will, without a doubt, report when training camp actually starts.
