Jim Montgomery has officially announced who will be his starting goaltender for Friday night against the Arizona Coyotes.
Linus Ullmark is coming off a 23-save shutout against the Colorado Avalanche; however, as The Athletic's Fluto Shinzawa reports, he'll be getting the night off.
Ullmark is the obvious number-one goalie for the Boston Bruins. He's having a Vezina-worthy start to the season, but Montgomery is getting back to a more even workload.
Swayman is healthy again and slowly picking it up after his slow start. The 24-year-old has improved his record to 5-2-1, going 3-1-1 in his last five games. He currently has a 2.63 GAA and a .899 SV%.
The Bruins are in action next on Sunday as they visit Bruce Cassidy and the Vegas Golden Knights.
