The Boston Bruins dropped a tight one last night to the Vancouver Canucks in a shootout.

As you can tell by the 2-1 score, the Bruins had trouble creating things offensively all night long.

Bruins' forwardTaylor Hall stood out for the wrong reasons as he failed to register a shot through the first two periods of play.

That led Joe Sacco to drop him down to the third line and promote Erik Haula hoping the second line could get something going.

"They didn't have any shots on net," Sacco said. "So we just thought we'd try to get Haula back there. That line was playing well the last couple games. Just to change it up, we needed to do something from the offensive side of our group."

"We'll figure out where we want to go for (Thursday against Edmonton) as far as our lines," Sacco said. "But we just thought we'd give it a chance to give it a shot in the arm to jolt our offense a little bit."

Hall wasn't the only one who failed to show up as Jake DeBrusk registered just one shot in 11 minutes of ice time while Nick Foligno failed to register a shot in 17 minutes of ice.

What do you think of Sacco's comments?
