There's no shortage of interest when it comes to Boston Bruins' winger Jake DeBrusk.

General manager Don Sweeney continues to try and accommodate the youngster's trade request with strong interest being shown from around 7-8 teams.

Most recently the Seattle Kraken seemed to be the perfect fit, however there's one thing holding up a trade with almost any team.

According to ESPN's Emily Kaplan, teams are hesitant to pull the trigger on a DeBrusk trade because of his contract situation.

"[H]is eligibility for arbitration a serious holdup for teams. There seems to be plenty of interest in the winger; teams I've heard connected to him this year (and in the past) are the Blues, Flames and Rangers. The Bruins, like the Blackhawks, want to make sure they don't lose a promising young player in an underwhelming trade."

DeBrusk is in the final year of his deal that carries an AAV of $3.675million.

The 25 year old has 141 in 264 games so far during his NHL career.
