The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney continue to try and accommodate Jake DeBrusk.
The forward recently requested a trade so he could get a fresh start somewhere else.
According to Eric Duhatschek of The Athletic, the fit looks to be with the Seattle Kraken.
Duhatschek reports that the two teams have a match as the Kraken have been shopping Mason Appleton.
DeBrusk carries a $3.675million cap hit while Appleton has $900k cap hit.
The move would give the B's the extra cap space needed to sign Tuukka Rask.
Appleton has 4 points in 12 games.
Would you make this trade?
